Children's Miracle Network of El Paso provides funding for critical support of El Paso Children's Hospital.

Grants are provided in these key areas:

  • Research Development Grant

Family Care Grant


Children's Miracle Network Family Care grants supports the special medical needs of El Paso Children's Hospital patients and families who are under a financial strain and have exhausted all other available sources of funding.

This fund provides a maximum of $750 per year for supplies, medications, transportation, durable medical equipment and other needs.

Staff Training and Development Grant

Children’s Miracle Network Staff Training and Development grants support specific training needs of staff at El Paso Children’s involved in the development of new and specialized programs aimed at the advancement of highly specialized, state-of-the-art programs for children’s healthcare. These awards may be requested for licensing, certification, travel to meetings, books and registration, or tuition fees for the . Salary support is not an eligible cost.

Clinical Services & Equipment Grant

Children’s Miracle Network Clinical Services & Equipment grants support projects and equipment that enhance the clinical care of patients at El Paso Children’s Hospital or the development of clinical pathways specific to the treatment of children.

Research Development Grant


Children's Miracle Network Research Development grant supports research projects on the El Paso Children’s campus aimed at improving the health and welfare of children; or elaborating principles of biology or disease processes that have an impact on the health and welfare of children. These projects may be of a clinical or experimental nature. While all funded proposals must be meritorious, priority will be given to investigators submitting pilot project proposals (new studies not funded by other sources) with the likelihood of leading to new extramural grant submissions. This award will fund a single pre-eminent research project of clinical or experimental nature that will have the potential of significant impact on the health and welfare of children. The award may be up to $25,000 annually for each of two continuous years. No administrative overhead or indirect costs will be supported.
