Food City Raised $24,682.00 To Benefit Children's Miracle Network During Five-Week Fundraising Campaign

El Paso, Texas (September 12, 2014). - Food City just made a big difference for sick and injured children at El Paso Children’s Hospital this year.

Food City associates and customers from all El Paso locations completed their annual five week fundraising balloon campaign which raised $24,682.00 for the Children’s Miracle Network to benefit El Paso Children’s Hospital. The fundraising campaign ran from July 23 through August 20 in all three Food City locations in El Paso.

Food City associates accepted donations at cash registers and through other in-store fundraising activities with the participation of our local Miracle Children to collect $24,682.00 one dollar at a time.

This represents a 50 percent increase in comparison to the 2013 campaign. The funds benefit sick and injured children at El Paso Children’s Hospital.
